Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project 12/8/23
- Crews continued installing the new drainage structures and pipe along SE 10th St between Old Dixie Hwy to SE 2nd Ave.
- Crews also finished pouring the gaps in the Shared Use Path where ATT adjusted their vaults.
Upcoming Week of December 11th
- Continue installation of the new Curb & Gutters and Shared Use Path/Sidewalks along SE 10th St between SE 2nd Ave to Old Dixie Hwy.
- Begin placement of the final lift of asphalt along SW 10th St between SW 10th Ave to the I-95 Bridge.
Pedestrian Bridge Update for the week of December 11th
- The North Pedestrian Bridge is expected to be delivered on Monday, December 11th and installed on Wednesday, December 13th.
- The South Pedestrian Bridge is expected to be delivered on Wednesday, December 13th and be installed on Monday, December 18th.
- Daytime Road Closures from 7am – 5pm will be in place for delivery and installation of the new Bridges. Detour Route will be set up to detour traffic south on both Congress and Homewood Blvd to use Linton Ave.
