Weekly Update 9/22/2023

Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project 9/22/23:
- Crews continued placing sod along SW 10^th St. between SW 10th Ave. to SW 8^th Ave. and also began work between SW 4^th Ave. to SW 2^nd Ave.
- Crews poured the concrete aprons around drainage inlets along both sides of SW 10th St. between SW 8^th Ave. to 95 Bridge.
- Crews continued pouring new concrete curb & gutters and shared use path along the north side of SW 10^th St. between SW 2^nd Ave. to Swinton Ave.
- Drainage work also continued along the south side of SE 10^th St. between Old Dixie Hwy to SE 4^th Ave.

Upcoming Week of Sept 25^th:
- Continue with installation of new curbs and shared use path along the north side of SW 10^th St. between SW 2^nd Ave. to Swinton Ave.
- Begin removal and framing up for new curb & gutters and sidewalks at the SE corner of SW 10^th St. and SW 4^th Ave. with new ADA ramps.
- Continue with installation of new drainage along the south side of SE 10^th St. between Old Dixie Hwy to SE 4^th Ave.
- Begin adjusting frames in pavement areas along SW10th St./Lowson Blvd. for final lift of asphalt west of SW 10^th Ave.
- Begin installing the sidewalk along the south side of Lowson Blvd. near Dover Rd. at the Canal.
