• Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project 9/1/23:
    • Crews continued placing sod in the remaining areas along Lowson Blvd between Dover Rd to the Pedestrian Bridge. Sod placement also began along SW 10th St  East of the 95 Bridge.
    • Crews poured the last two remaining Gravity Walls at the Pedestrian Bridge on the west side.
    • Crews began removing the old sidewalk and framing up for the new Shared Use path along the North side of SW 10th St between Congress to the RR Tracks.
    • Drainage Structure and frame was installed along SW 10th St just west of Swinton Ave.
    • Drainage work also continued along the south side of SE 10th St between Old Dixie Hwy to SE 4th Ave.
  • Upcoming Week of Sept 4th:
    • Labor Day – Sept 4th – No work is scheduled in observance for the Holiday.
    • Finish installing the Gravity Wall drainage pipes and begin backfilling and compacting.
    • Continue Installation of Sod along Lowson Blvd between Congress to the Pedestrian Bridge.
    • Continue installation of the Shared Use Path along the North side of SW 10th St between Congress to the RR Tracks.
    • Continue with installation of new drainage along the south side of SE 10th St between Old Dixie Hwy to SE 4th Ave.
  • Motorists can expect minor delays traveling thru the Work Zone Areas
