Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project 3/31/23
- Work continued along the North side of SW 10^th St between SW 11^th Ave to SW 8^th Ave with crews grading and pouring concrete for the new Sidewalks and Curb & Gutters.
- Work continued along SW 10^th St on the south side, between S. Swinton Ave to SW 4^th Ave grading & pouring Concrete Curb & Gutters and sidewalks, as well as working on new drainage structures.
- Preparation work began at the Pedestrian Bridge along Lowson Blvd between Congress and Homewood Blvd. Pile Driving activities have been delayed one week.
Upcoming Week of April 3^rd
- Continue working along SW 10^th St between SW 17^th Ave to SW 8^th Ave with drainage improvements and new concrete sidewalks and curb & gutters.
- Continue working along SW 10^th St between S. Swinton Ave to SW 4^th Ave with adding new curbs and sidewalks along the south side of SW 10^th St as well as installing new drainage structures.
- Pedestrian Bridge on Lowson Blvd between Congress and Homewood Blvd:
  - Pile Driving for the Two Test Piles to begin midweek.
  - Daily Road Closure will take place during Pile Driving Operations for the new Pedestrian Bridges to be installed at the Canal Bridge, which will connect the new Shared Use Paths along both the North and South side of Lowson Blvd.
  - Daily Road Closures will occur between the hours of 7am to 5pm Weekdays.
  - Detour Route will be posted which will direct traffic to the south on both Congress and Homewood Blvd and use Linton Ave.
Motorists can expect minor delays traveling thru the Work Zone Areas
