Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project

    • Project Update for the Week of November 14th:
      • Contractor reset all the MOT and devices after Tropical Storm Nicole.
      • Crews began excavation to install S-400 near SW 10th St and SW 8th Ave and discovered a utility cable conflict that needed to be relocated.
      • Crews also continued installing 18” concrete pipe between S-211 to S-214 along the North side of Lowson Blvd near SW 21st Terrace.
      • Sod also continued to be placed along Lowson Blvd for the graded swales and parkways between Homewood Blvd to the East.
      • More sections of the Concrete Shared Use path were also poured mid-week along the South side of Lowson Blvd, West of Homewood Blvd.
    • Upcoming Week of November 21st:
      • Continue installing the 18” concrete pipe between S-211 to S-214 and install structure S-207.
      • Thanksgiving Holiday – No work will be scheduled during the Thanksgiving holiday and will resume on November 28th.
    • Motorists can continue to expect minor delays traveling thru the Work Zone Area.
