- Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project
- Project Update for the Week of October 31st
- Crews continued with grading the parkways and swales along the new Shared-Use Path on the North side of Lowson Blvd between Dover Rd to Homewood Blvd and placing sod.
- Crews finished installing the new drainage pipe between S-204 to S203 and also connected to the existing structure S-202.
- Crews also installed structure S-214 and began installing the new 18” drainage pipe towards structure S-211.
- Crews also poured more concrete for the Shared Use path along Lowson Blvd between Camino Rd to Homewood Blvd.
- Crews also milled and placed the first lift of asphalt on Lowson Blvd between Ponce De Leon Blvd and Homewood Blvd for correction in the profile of the roadway.
- Upcoming Week of November 7th
- Continue with grading the remaining sections of the Shared Use path along Lowson Blvd between Camino Rd to Homewood Blvd.
- Continue with drainage improvements along Lowson Blvd between the Canal to SW 20th Ct. which includes completing the drainage run between S-214 to S-211.
- Drainage work to begin between SW 8th Ave to SW 6th Ave adding new drainage structures along the North side of SW 10th St/Lowson Blvd.
- Motorists can continue to expect minor delays traveling thru the Work Zone Area.
