Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project 3/29/24
Crews have been completing the remaining sod installation throughout the project.
Crews began installing the new handrails for the pedestrian bridge approaches on 3/28/24.
Crews have been addressing punchlist items throughout the project for close out.
Upcoming Week of April 1, 2024
Pavement deficiency work is scheduled to begin on Monday, April 1. Crews will be milling pavement areas that need to be corrected and then repaved. This work will be taking place along Lowson Blvd/SW 10th St between Dover Rd to Federal Hwy. Motorists can expect minor delays while traveling through those areas.
Upcoming Construction at the intersection of SW10th St/Lowson Blvd and Congress Ave.
New ADA ramps and sidewalks will be installed at the intersection at all four corners with new pedestrian signals.
Night Time Work – Milling and paving of the intersection will take place at night. As the date approaches, a new update will be posted.
