- Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project 3/1/24:
- Crews completed the installation of the new sod along the south side of SE 10th St between Federal Hwy to Miami Blvd.
- Crews continued with grading along SE 10th St along the north side between Federal Hwy to Old Dixie Hwy and preparing those areas for sod.
- Pedestrian signal work continued at SW 10th St and Swinton Ave.
- Upcoming Week of March 4th:
- Continue with grading remaining parkways and restoration along SE 10th St between Federal Hwy to Old Dixie Hwy.
- Continue with grading remaining parkways and restoration with sod along SW 10th St between Swinton Ave to SW 4th Ave.
- Continue with grading and restoring remaining areas along SW 10th St and Lowson Blvd from SW 10th Ave to Congress.
- Note that various areas along Lowson Blvd just East of Homewood Ave and also along SW 10th St between the 95 Bridge to SW 10th Ave need to be milled and repaved to correct pavement deficiencies.
- Upcoming Construction at the intersection of SW10th St/Lowson Blvd and Congress Ave:
- New ADA ramps and sidewalks are planned to be installed at the intersection at all four corners with new pedestrian signals.
- Night Time Work – Milling and paving of the intersection will take place at night. As the date approaches, a new update will be posted.
