Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project 10/27/23:
- Crews framed up and poured new Concrete Curb & Gutters and Sidewalks along the South side of SW 10th St between Congress to the RR Tracks.
- Crews continued with framing up and pouring new concrete Curb & Gutters and sidewalks along the North side of SE10th St between SE 2nd Ave to SE 4th Ave.
- Placing of the final lift of asphalt at the intersection of SW 10th St and Swinton Ave was rescheduled for next week.
Upcoming Week of Oct 30th:
- Finish paving the 1st lift of asphalt at the intersection of SW 10th St and Swinton Ave.
- Continue with installing new concrete Curb & Gutters along the North side of SE 10th St between SE 2nd Ave to SE 4th Ave.
- Continue with grading parkways and swales along SW 10th St between SW 4th Ave to Swinton Ave and placing sod.
- Begin preparation for placement of the final lift of Asphalt on Lowson Blvd between Dover Rd to the Pedestrian Bridge.
- Install new Guard Rail on the south side of Lowson Blvd near Dover Rd.
- Finish installing the new curb & gutters and sidewalk with new Bus Pad along South side of SW 10th St between Congress to the RR tracks.
Pedestrian Bridge Update:
- Delivery and installation of the new Pedestrian Bridge is expected in Mid to Late November.
Motorists can expect minor delays traveling thru the Work Zone Areas
