Weekly Update 10/13/2023

Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project 10/13/23:
- Installation of the new Concrete Curb & Gutters and Sidewalks along SW 10^th St between SW 4^th Ave to Swinton Ave is nearing 90% completion.
- Milling and Paving the 1^st Lift of Asphalt on SW 10^th St between SW 4^th Ave to Swinton Ave began.
- Crews continued grading parkways for Sod along SW 10^th St between SW 4^th Ave and SW 2^nd Ave.
- Installation of the new Sidewalk and Curb along the South side of Lowson Blvd at Dover Rd is complete.
- Crews also continued installing the remaining drainage structures along the South side of SW 10^th St between SW 11^th Ave to SW 12^th Ave.
Upcoming Week of Oct 16^th:
- Finish milling and paving the 1^st lift of Asphalt along SW 10^th St between SW 4^th Ave to Swinton Ave.
- Finish remaining drainage structures along south side of SW 10^th St between SW 11^th Ave to SW 12^th Ave.
- Begin the installation of new Curb & Gutters along the North side of SE 10^th St between SE 2^nd Ave to SE 4^th Ave.
- Continue grading parkways and swales along SW 10^th St between SW 4^th Ave to Swinton Ave and placing sod.
Motorists can expect minor delays traveling thru the Work Zone Areas
