Weekly Update 9/8/2023

Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project 9/8/23:
- Crews continued placing sod in the remaining areas along Lowson Blvd between Dover Rd to the Pedestrian Bridge and also along SW 10^th St East of the 95 Bridge towards SW 10^th Ave.
- Pipe Underdrains were completed at the new gravity walls at the pedestrian bridge.
- Crews also finished framing up and pouring the new concrete shared use path along the North side of SW 10^th St between Congress to the RR Tracks.
- Crews began grading the parkways along both the North and South sides of SW 10^th St between SW 4^th Ave to SW 2^nd Ave.
- Drainage work also continued along the south side of SE 10^th St between Old Dixie Hwy to SE 4^th Ave.
Upcoming Week of Sept 11^th:
- Continue Installation of Sod along SW 10^th St between SW 10^th Ave to the 95 Bridge.
- Continue installation of new Curbs and shared use path along SW 10^th St between SW 2^nd Ave to Swinton.
- Continue installation of new drainage along the south side of SE 10^th St between Old Dixie Hwy to SE 4^th Ave.
Motorists can expect minor delays traveling thru the Work Zone Areas
