- Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project 9/29/23:
- Crews continued pouring new concrete curb & gutters and shared use path along the North side of SW 10th St between Swinton Garden Drive to Swinton Ave.
- Crews continued with grading parkways for Sod along SW 10th St between SW 4th Ave to Swinton Garden Dr and also between Congress to RR Tracks East of Congress.
- Crews also grading the parkways along the North side of Lowson Blvd just east of the Pedestrian Bridge and prepping for sod.
- Crews continued with adjusting frames in the pavement for final lift of asphalt placement.
- Upcoming Week of Oct 2nd:
- Finished the new concrete curb & gutters and Sidewalk along the North side of SW 10th St between Swinton Garden Dr to Swinton Ave.
- Begin removal and framing up for new Curb & Gutters and Sidewalks at the SE corner of SW 10th St and SW 4th Ave with new ADA Ramps.
- Continue adjusting frames in pavement areas along SW 10th St/Lowson Blvd for final lift of asphalt west of SW 10th Ave.
- Begin installing the sidewalk located along the South side of Lowson Blvd near Dover Rd at the Canal.
- Begin installing handrails along the Shared Use path at drop off locations along SW 10th St between SW10th Ave to the 95 Bridge.
- Motorists can expect minor delays traveling thru the Work Zone Areas
