Weekly Update 7/28/2023

Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project 7/28/23:
- Work continued along SW 10^th St between SW 4^th Ave to SW 8^th Ave in the Road Closed Section with pouring the remaining concrete sidewalks and driveways. Crews also continued with placing sod in the parkways.
- Framing for the Gravity Walls at the Pedestrian Bridge began this week on the West side of the Pedestrian Bridge.
- Crews also continued working along SW 10^th St between SW 10^th Ave to SW 15^th Ave working on the South Side of the roadway for the new concrete curb & gutters and Shared Use Path.
- Work also began along SW 10^th St between SW 8^th Ave to SW 10^th Ave at milling the pavement and paving the first lift of asphalt.
- Crews will be working Saturday 7/29/23 on SW 10^th St near SW 12^th Ave.
Upcoming Week of July 31^st:
- SW 10^th Street is closed to Thru Traffic during the reconstruction of the roadway between SW 4^th Ave to SW 8^th Ave and is scheduled to reopen on Friday August 4^th.
- The final lift of Asphalt is scheduled to begin next for the School area between SW 4^th Ave to SW 8^th Ave, followed by placing the new Pavement Markings.
- Work at the Pedestrian Bridges will continue on the West side for the new gravity walls for the approach slabs.
- Work along SW 10^th St between SW 10^th Ave to SW 15^th Ave will continue along the South side for installing new concrete curb & gutters and Shared Use Path.
Motorists can expect minor delays traveling thru the Work Zone Areas
