Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project 6/30/23
- Excavation began at the Pedestrian Bridges on the west side for the gravity walls for the approach slabs.
- Work continued along SW 10^th St between SW 4^th Ave to SW 8^th Ave in the Road Closed Section with crews installing new drainage structures and pipe, framing up and pouring new concrete curbs and sidewalks and also excavating and placing base rock for the new roadway.
- Crews will be working this Saturday, 7/1/23 in the SW 10^th Ave Road Closed section.

Upcoming Week of July 3^rd, 2023:
- SW 10^th Street is closed to Thru Traffic during the roadway reconstruction between SW 4^th Ave to SW 8^th Ave.
- The roadway closure is expected to last from June 5^th thru August 4^th while Pine Grove Elementary is out of session for the summer.
- Detour Route is set up to detour traffic to the North on SW 4^th Ave and SW 8^th Ave and to use SW 4^th Street to the East and West.
- Crews continue with excavation for the new roadway rock base, installation of new concrete curb & gutters and Sidewalks/Driveways.
- Work at the Pedestrian Bridges will continue on the West side for the new gravity walls for the approach slabs.
- Pedestrian Signal work at SW 10^th St and SW 10^th Ave is scheduled.
- HOLIDAY: 4^th of July – No work is scheduled on Tuesday, July 4^th in observance of the Holiday.
Motorists can expect minor delays traveling thru the Work Zone Areas
