Weekly Update 5/12/2023

Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project 5/12/23:
- Work continued along SW 10^th St between SW 10^th Ave to the SFRTA Railroad with crews milling the pavement and placing the 1^st lift of Asphalt.
- Drainage work at SW 10^th St and SW 8^th Ave was completed.
- Crews also were grading the parkways/swale areas along Lowson Blvd between Homewood Blvd to the Pedestrian Bridge.
Upcoming Week of May 15^th:
- Continue working along SW 10^th St between SW 10^th Ave to the SFRTA Railroad with milling the pavement and placing the 1^st lift of asphalt.
- Finish grading the parkway/swales along Lowson Blvd between Homewood to Dover Road and begin placing sod.
- Begin Drainage work along SE 10^th St between SE 2^nd Ave to S. Dixie Hwy.
- Pedestrian Bridge on Lowson Blvd between Congress and Homewood Blvd
  - Excavation for the new Pedestrian Bridge abutments/Bend Ends is scheduled to begin.
Motorists can expect minor delays traveling thru the Work Zone Areas
