Weekly Update 4/21/2023

Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project 4/21/23
- Work continued along the North side of SW 10^th St between SW 8^th Ave to SW 16^th Ave with crews grading and pouring concrete for the new Sidewalks and Curb & Gutters, drainage improvements and adjusting existing fire hydrants.
- Work also continued along SW 10^th St on the North side, between S. Swinton Ave to SW 4^th Ave working on installing new drainage structures and adjusting fire hydrants.
- Crews also began grading for the new shared use path along the south side of SW 10^th St between SW 8^th Ave to SW 10^th Ave.

Upcoming Week of April 24^th
- Continue working along SW 10^th St between SW 17^th Ave to SW 8^th Ave with drainage improvements, Concrete Curb & Gutters and shared-use path/sidewalks.
- Continue working along SW 10^th St between SW 6^th Ave to SW 8^th Ave with installing new drainage structures.
- Pedestrian Bridge on Lowson Blvd between Congress and Homewood Blvd
  - The next phase of installing the remaining piles is tentatively scheduled to begin the week of May 1^st.
  - Daytime Road Closures will be in place during Pile Driving Operations from 7am to 5pm.
Motorists can expect minor delays traveling thru the Work Zone Areas
