Weekly Update 4/14/2023

Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project 4/14/23:
- Work continued along the North side of SW 10^th St between SW 8^th Ave to SW 16^th Ave with crews grading and pouring concrete for the new Sidewalks and Curb & Gutters, drainage improvements and adjusting existing fire hydrants.
- Work also continued along SW 10^th St on the North side, between S. Swinton Ave to SW 4^th Ave working on installing new drainage structures.
- The 2^nd of two Test Piles for the Pedestrian Bridge was completed on Wednesday.

Upcoming Week of April 17^th:
- Continue working along SW 10^th St between SW 17^th Ave to SW 8^th Ave with drainage improvements and new concrete sidewalks and curb & gutters and adjusting existing fire hydrants.
- Continue working along SW 10^th St between SW 6^th Ave to SW 8^th Ave with installing new drainage structures.
- Pedestrian Bridge on Lowson Blvd between Congress and Homewood Blvd
  - The test piles have been completed. Once the production piles have been ordered, it will take about 3 weeks before the next phase of Pile Driving begins and daytime road closures will take place again.
