Weekly Update 3/17/2023

Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project 3/17/23
- Work continued along the North side of SW 10^th St between SW 17^th St to SW 10^th Ave with crews grading for the new Concrete Sidewalks and Curb & Gutters.
- Drainage work continued along Lowson Blvd/SW 10^th St between SW 17^th Ave to SW 10^th Ave at installing new drainage structures and adjusting existing structures for the new improvements.
- Work continued along SW 10^th St on the south side, between S. Swinton Ave to SW 4^th Ave grading & pouring Concrete Curb & Gutters and sidewalks, as well as working on new drainage structures.
Upcoming Week of March 20^th:
- Continue working along SW 10^th St between SW 17^th Ave to SW 10^th Ave with drainage improvements and new concrete sidewalks and curb & gutters.
- Continue working along SW 10^th St between S. Swinton Ave to SW 4^th Ave with adding new curbs and sidewalks along the south side of SW 10^th St as well as installing new drainage structures.
Motorists can expect minor delays traveling thru the Work Zone Areas

Pedestrian Bridge Work to Begin March 27^th!
- Construction of the new Pedestrian Bridges at the Canal Bridge between Congress and Homewood Blvd is scheduled to begin the week of March 27^th.
- Daytime Pile Driving Activities during this time will require Lowson Blvd to be closed during the daytime work activities scheduled between 7am to 5pm.
- Detour Route will be posted which detours traffic to the south to Linton Blvd to get between Congress and Homewood Blvd.
