Weekly Update for the Lowson Blvd Improvement Project

    • Project Update for the Week of October 24th:
      • Crews continued with grading the parkways and swales along the new Shared-Use Path on the North side of Lowson Blvd between Dover Rd to Homewood Blvd and began placing sod.
      • Crews also installed new drainage structure S-204 and new 18” French Drain pipe to improve the drainage along the south side of Lowson Blvd between the Canal and SW 21st Terrace. Crews are also installing new pipe across Lowson Blvd to connect to Structure S-203.
      • Crews also began on Friday pouring more concrete for the Shared Use Path between Dover Rd to Homewood Blvd.
    • Upcoming Week of October 31st:
      • Continue with grading the parkways/swales along the Shared-Use path on the North side of Lowson Blvd between Camino Rd to Homewood Blvd and begin placing sod.
      • Continue with drainage improvements along Lowson Blvd between the Canal to SW 20th Ct.
      • Continue pouring concrete for the remaining sections of the Shared Use Path between Dover Rd to Homewood Blvd.
    • Motorists can continue to expect minor delays traveling thru the Work Zone Area.
